WISE Volunteer Program - Legal Aid
This program will dedicate volunteers to researching the laws of Ghana with regards to domestic violence, human rights and other issues. Program duration is a minimum of 10 weeks.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Researching Ghanaian and international laws.
- Simplifying and summarizing research findings into ‘handy guides' for counselors to use in their work.
- Creating pamphlets for WISE clients, explaining domestic laws and human rights.
- Consolidating research into an informative guide for future legal aid volunteers.
Ideal candidate must have a background in law or human rights and be experienced in research.
